It'll be easy to mod if it isn't.

The satellite map is not available outside of the US (at least from my testing), but the temperature and forecast is and automatically converts from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Ok, added the plugin to my project, added my attributes, including my API key, then ran the project in the simulator, went to the weather report screen and it says 'Updating Weather', but it has been doing so for about 5 minutes. Does this plugin work in the simulator?

It works in the simulator. Do you have extra spaces in the API numbers?

No, everything seems to be inserted correctly. Still loading, its been 10 minutes now and no report. I am based in the UK, would this be an issue?

It does work in the simulator and you can change the location of your simulator to test this in other locations if you want. Some fun tips/tweeks for the ios sim here: http://mobile.tutsplus.com/tutorials/iphone/ios-simulator/ (esp that saving photos tip!)

Unfortunately this plugin isn't working for me, the report I want is for Portugal, but nothing is loading, not sure what to do.

I'll have a look and see. Everything I tested worked. Give iit a try in your device and see if that makes a difference.

I changed my simulator location to coordinates in Portugal and it came up fine. I'm going to mess with configuration in xcode to see if I can figure out why you're not getting it to work. Here's a screen shot from my Portugal experiment: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/76141353/portugal.png

Could it be based on his ip address and some type of block or firewall?

OK. I managed to duplicate the situation where the screen would go into an endless loading loop. Looking at the debug console I saw that it was generating a 'location did fail with error' message. Your simulator location is either set to 'none' or to an invalid lat/long combination. To fix, when in the simulator, go to: Debug->Location and set your location to 'Apple Stores' or to a custom location (39.399872 and -8.224454 works for Portugal). Apparently, even if you are specifying a location in the Plugin Control Panel, your simulator must have a viable location itself or it won't function properly.

Hi MGoBlue, still the same problem, made the changes you have shown above, but hasn't worked for me, still endless loading loop. Hi MadRod, currently building an app for a hotel chain, we are still in talks, so I hope you don't mind that I won't disclose who they are. Never been to Portgual, hopefully with this client I will.

Would I need to re-download my source code again? As I downloaded the source and just dragged the new plugin into my existing project. I hope not.

There should be no need to re-download the source code. If you've copied the plugin into your project and have updated your BT_config.txt it should be working. The fact that you are actually seeing the screen shows it is working. I'll see if I can figure out anything else. Did you try running it on your phone?

Hi MGoBlue please don't hate me, but as soon as I added to my device it sprang into action and is now working. Not sure why it wouldn't run in my simulator, but I apologies for any inconvenience caused. I hold my hands up here!

Now that I have my plugin up and running, do I have any control over the icon images, it would be so much better if they were transparent .PNG icons?

Glad you got it working. There are 10 sets of icons available in your control panel. Several are transparent pings. They are all supplied in the API call from weather underground.

Yes it works, sorry for causing a scene. So I'm guessing I have to just go through each icon set to I work out which ones are transparent?

No that I have had chance to test the plugin my app, I was surprised to get an email from wunderground that I reached my 10 calls within a minute and rather that denie me access to the weather report it used one of my raindrops and asked me to upgrade my plan to a paid plan. This is a little disappointing considering I was testing my app. If my client wants to have this feature it means I have to charge them $20 per month, not that this will be an issue but I do think I should be able to test the product without getting an email requesting I upgrade. I am not taking away that this is a good feature to have in a plugin.

I think it's just an issue when testing because you access the screen so many times in rapid succession. Most likely your client won't run into 10 calls per minute unless they're getting a lot of traffic. I have only run into that testing issue a couple of times and I've been working with this for quite a while. I'm setting up separate accounts per app, and possibly even per screen if I'm using more than one weather screen in an app (ie. a golf course app).

Hi guys, I can't seem to get the weather thing to recognise it as Celsius. Since it's an app for the UK, I would need it in Celsius.
