splash screen image size error

hello there I use either animated splash screen plugin or splash screen plugin, and when I place the image at the project and link them with the control panel, the image I get as a splash screen is totally messed up at size…the dimensions are fine as I checked from other topics or apple's guide…for iphone 640*1136

I have a splash screen for iPhone that is 640*960, have only seen it in the simulator so far, but it looks good!

I've tried that too, but it keeps being messed up…it's like it has zoomed 4-5 times

you need to select 'full screen' in drop down options for the image.

You should use images equal in size to the iPhone's dimensions

yes chris, that's what I do...I tried 640*1136, 640*960 but it didn't work... it only works at 320*480. but in iphone 4& 5 it seems awful...

I've used a couple at 320x480 on my iPhone 4S and they look great. I'll look into resizing images for other dimensions for the next version though.

There's an option for a different image file to be used on the iPad. Use one that matches the iPad dimensions.

mmmm ok...what's your opinion?use smaller ones for all of them?for example use 320*480 even for iphone 5? and act like this for ipad also?

Yeah - the splash screen isn't up for very long anyway, and with animation I doubt (m)any user(s) will say "I can't believe he didn't use a high resolution image there - bad review for this app!" Still, I'll look into supporting high resolution images in v. 2
