hey, welcome. you can create a plugin, but you have to be a member to do that. There are some Buzztouch webinars on creating plugins, search on you tube. Let me know if you need anything. Cheers Miguel

Also, you have to be self-hosted

To make a Plugin, its best to be a Member, yet one does not have to be self-hosted. The BuzzTouch Founder, David Book, has said multiple times on a Webcast that BuzzTouch.com is willing to host custom plugins that will be only accessible by a specific Member's account. Watch a few videos, let the thoughts run around your head, come back here and ask questions on the forum. We'll get you started on the right paths. First question, are you developing for iOS or Android? -- Niraj

True - but it would be pretty hard to develop and test a plugin without a self-hosted account.

I agree with Chris. I would use the self-hosted software on my own Mac for development of the plugin. When finished, submit the plugin to BuzzTouch.com for production hosting. That way, you won't have the maintenance hassle for production hosting. Then you'll get all the benefits of running on the BuzzTouch.com service. Yet, you'll lose the flexibility of loading and using any plugin on your own self-hosted server. A blade has two edges, both sharp! :-) -- Niraj
