Noob here in need of some help

Dear helpers, I don't really know much about programming or really anything. I'm not totally stupid despite my punctuation and spelling. I know a bit of Command prompt, movie downloading off torrents, etc etc. Im just really new to this. I fallowed step one create and now im stuck on the second part. Downland i have windows 7 64 bit non mac. and so far i downloaded Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers, 228 MB and Eclipse Classic 4.2.2, 183 MB my problem is when i open Eclipse Classic it asks for java development kit. Is that not Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers, 228 MB??? Maybe i have to move a file idk please help :)

Its a separate download. Java SE 7u17 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html Even though your on a 64 bit system, you are going to want the 32bit jdk.

Hello, Welcome to buzztouch! I have a number of videos on YouTube that show how to install on different operating systems. The best method is to use the Eclipse ADT Bundle. Give these a view, and they should get you up and running! http://www.youtube.com/user/GoNorthWest/videos?view=0&flow=grid By the way, the 64-bit version of everything tends to be problematic. If you can do 32-bit, I'd stick with that. Mark
