xib file questions iPhone 4, 5, iPad, etcetera...

I'm curious. Having started iOS programming doing things in code, I'm finding the whole xib thing quite pleasant. Does iOS adhere to the same naming conventions as the app images? mycoolplugin.xib mycoolplugin-Portrait~ipad.xib [email protected] mycoolplugin@2x~ipad.xib And so on...? Cheers! -- Smug

Not yet; just xib files. Does it work with storyboards? Cheers! -- Smug

I dont believe there is, But if you are using Storyboard theres a handy feature for just flicking between iPhone 5 and 4 screen sizes. I really do prefer using storyboard, unless you are using static artwork that displays button boundaries and sectors (in which case the artwork would just have to stretch or shrink). Try and use layers of textures within storyboard as you would with photoshop. The align tool is pretty powerful too, this can be used to move the other layers automatically depending on screen size. Hope this kind of helps. -Nick
