Question About XIB Button Menu Plugin!

Want to know whether the XIB page will scroll in app if I choose to use all 12 buttons and if I choose to make the screen page longer to suit my design layout?

No. I worked on this with Susan, trying to add a UIscrollview to the xib file to allow this but it made things messy and complicated. One of the beauties of this plugin is that it is WYSIWYG. You can always make the buttons smaller or move them around to make them fit. Also remember that the very bottom of it will not be visible on the 3.5 screen. All of that is explained in the documentation. josh

Ok, that's a shame, will rework my layout. However this plugin is awesome adds a different dimension. I will be sure to write a good review.

Can you add more than 12 buttons?

It comes with 12 buttons by default and the buzztouch control panel lets you pick 12 screens for those buttons. Having said that it's not very difficult whatsoever to add more buttons, you just have to pick the screen manually in xcode as opposed to choosing it on the control panel.

<shamelessplug> Or use the JSON snippet plugin if you still want the app to be connected to the control panel. :) </shamelessplug> I'll be glad to help anyone who wants to go that route.

Just purchased this plugin and since I needed to use it on all 3 iPhone screen sizes I had to decide whether to build separate XIB files or use screen scrolling. I decided to recode the files to enable scrolling and build the XIB file view to fit the iPhone Retina 4-inch as a default. With the scrolling enabled it will also be suitable for the Retina 3.5-inch and the standard non-Retina iPhone.
