Live test on Android unit

Are there any tutorials on how to test an Android app on an actual unit rather than the simulator? My pdfs are not showing on the simulator but I have a feeling they will work correctly on an actual phone. This is the last check I need to perform before I submit my very first app for approval!! Any info would be greatly appreciated...Thank you!

For pdf you need pdf readers pre installed on your phone/simulator

You need to enable your device for development. Select USB debugging. PDF's will not display natively on Android, the user will be prompted to install viewer if they don't already have it.

To continue on with @MacApple's suggestion...start by setting USB Debugging allowed in your Settings section of Android. Then plug the device into your computer using whatever cable is necessary. If this is a Windows computer, you'll probably have to install device drivers from the device manufacturer first. For Mac, it might just work without all that. Then open Eclipse, bring up the Devices tab, and you should see your device listed. From there, it's just a matter of selecting the device to send your app to instead of the Emulator. Or...you could create an apk of your app, email it to yourself, and install it that way. That would work also. Mark
