Apple Mach-O Linker with iOS projects that include Scringo

Hi gang, We've been hearing some reports from users that are seeing an error in Xcode after downloading a project. This is related to the Scringo integration but is NOT an issue with the Scringo SDK. The trouble is intermittent and related to how our download server is packaging projects with the Scringo SDK. If you see experience this you will see a "linker command failed with exit code 1" message in the issues explorer. IT may also ready "framework not found Scringo" We are looking into this and hope to isolate it and fix it soon. We have no idea why this is happening but will be asking Scringo for some help so we can get it resolved. In the meantime, you can EASILY fix this in your project by.... 1) Open your project in Xcode 2) Remove the Scringo folder (it's in the BT_Core folder...highlight, right click, delete) 3) Download the latest Scringo package from the Scringo website and unzip it. 4) Drag it into the project. 5) Clean / Build. This will fix it. I'll post more when I learn more.

David I have one bug when integrating with Scringo which I do not know if it had been reported yet ! Namely once Scringo is running if you refresh the BT APP, all work ok but if you try and access Scringo after the refresh the APP HANGS and does not move....only way out is closing APP and restarting it then all ok. Have you experienced this ? Thanks mate Alan

Hi, Regarding the Apple Mach-O Linker with iOS projects - if anyone had this issue, please contact me at [email protected]. It would be great if you could attach a screenshot of your xcode project (we are trying to figure out when it happens). @Alan - We had such an issue (with refresh) in our previous versions, but it should be fixed in the current version (the one automatically integrated). If you downloaded Scringo from our site, please make sure you have the latest version. If it still doesn't work, please send me an email with xcode logs. Thanks, Elon

Will there be a guide with how-to, about scringo and its' functionalities? and how can we implement it in our apps?

It is easy to implement just go to Scringo.com and they have all the guides you need for implementation. You do need to register first !

Hello David, I don't have scringo implemented in my app. Today, I've downloaded the code for an update, and it seems that my app no longer works in iOS 5 and 4. There is only a white screen with an upper status bar. The only new thing on my project are the Scringo files that Buzztouch automatically add to my code. I wonder if they may be the reason of this app fail. Any idea of what can be wrong? Thanks!

Thank you very much I will do that ASAP. Do you think that will fix all the errors? There are FB references in all of the errors so I hope so!!

I saw also you have a reference to _ASIdentifierManager, so make sure you have AdSupport.framework as well.
