Reading BT pluggins on Eclipse

Hi, This is being for me one of those frustrating nights, when nothing seems to work properly, specially my brain... So, to keep it positive and constructive, before I go for a long night walk, I wanted to call for help. I need to be able to read my BT project in Eclipse. I couldnt yet find a video tutorial - but this is what would really get my wheels out of the mud. I have too many things I just cant change in the control panel (and many times, publishing in Design Mode wont change anything on the AVD). Being able to look at the project in Eclipse and understand exactly what the flow is, how changes in the control panel affect the code, edit any screen previously created in BT on Eclipse, that would make a difference for me, and I hope, also for many others doing their first steps in BuzzTouch, and wanting to be members of this great community. Well, it´s walking time for me... Thanks in advance :) Yosi

Hey salamandra! Welcome. The best way for you to learn the buzztouch work flow in eclipse is to goto your account and click on buzztouch u. They have videos and very valuable information. Plus you get points for completing the lessons. I will be glad to help anytime I can.

I think he's done that, by his profile. What questions do you have? Buzztouch apps work much like any other app, but with some common methods declared in their own class files. One of those methods handles loading of screens/activities by taking a String from the BT_config.txt file and converting it into a class name. The "plugins" are simply view controllers from which the screens are called. If you're trying to mod a screen, your best bet is to look at the flow of the plugin and consider what changes need to be made. If you give some specifics we can probably help.

Hey, thanks a lot. Not with my PC right now, but reading some info at MySkilla and the Documentation of BT v1.5, everything points to the JSON files. I'll have to take a deep look again on Eclipse and find how can I modify the layout and the strings of some screens. I'll post here what happens :) and what doesnt happen..... Thanks again!
