HTML custom text plugin and Live VS Design mode

However i have a question before i do so. Some of my screens in my app are using the HTML / custom text plugin and i noticed beneath the code area it states theis plugin does not support live / design mode. Firstly before i build the Xcode project for archiving and sending it to Apple i need to change it to live mode right. When i do so and want to work on changes that will come in te form of updates, what will happen to these screen that use this plugin? Do i need to do anything?
