Self-Hosted User API CALL Work Around- Any Suggestions?

Hey guys/gals. With a self-hosted server, I want the user to be able to log into their own account and access his/her app and make content changes if they want to. However, I do not want them to download their source code causing my API Call ratio to increase. For example is if a teacher/instructor has an app out and would like to update quizes and so forth they can from the control panel. They also can download the source code (do not want this) Is this possible? If so, could someone kindle post it in this thread so we can all learn? Thanks so much! Sheri

You may have to mod the BT Mod, but it works great! It only lists a couple of places for edits, but I've found that there is actually a few more, depending on what other options you leave your users. I went around and clamped down all my users from everything but viewing the usage map, and letting them do their own push (when I get around to implementing that too...) I had a local copy of BT Server on my drive for quick searches, and then went online to each file and made the appropriate changes. Cheers! -- Smug

Thanks guys. Been on The BuzztouchMod site before but it's been awhile. Lots of great stuff. Will be digging through it and seeing what turns up and keep you posted. Thanks for the input. -sheri
