App is blank until manual refresh. How to fix?

When you install my app on a device, the icons are all blank until you refresh. After that, everything is perfect. Apple has rejected due to the blank screen. Any thoughts on how to fix? Thanks!

Make sure your config file is loaded correctly. I know always copy and paste my config file from bt to Xcode before submitting.. I would try this and submit again.. Your bt config file may not have sinc'd up

If you have built out and enhanced your screens in the Buzztouch console after you have downloaded the source and submitted to Apple the starting state of the app will be from before you enhanced the screens. You'll need to re-download the source and make a new build in your most recent state to re-submit. Apple will not consider any refreshed data in their review (at least they didn't with an app I submitted). I hope this helps. Good luck! -William

You actually don't need to redownload your source, since nothing has changed. All you really need to do is make sure your configuration file is synced, giving the app the most recent config data. Here's a video that shows how to do that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp2vL1XCPC0 Mark

Yep! The one thing that tends to confuse people is the concept that when you're developing your app, unless you purchase and add a new plugin to your app, the only thing that changes is the configuration data file. From the first time you download the source, everything stays the same, because ALL the plugins you had installed at the time you downloaded are included with the package. And, since you can easily get the config data from the control panel, there's no reason to download the source more than once! Mark
