File not downloaded yet

Why am I getting file not downloaded yet message for my HTML plugin pages?? It will show up later.. Do I have to move the folder with those pages into eclipse?

If they are 'local' html files, you'll need to add them into eclipse. If they are 'dataUrl' documents on the internet, make sure they're easily reached. Cheers! -- Smug

Well, you are the one who will need to add them. Manually. If you haven't added them yet, they're not there. Although we add files to our control panel, those files aren't downloaded with our package. They are there for organizational purposes. You can download all those files as a zip file, but they're the same files you originally uploaded, so anything you download is going to be a copy of what is available somewhere on your drive anyway. https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf GoNorthWest wrote a good tutorial on how to add files to your project. They have to be done in a certain way or the system won't 'see' them. Find the files you want to have in your project, add them the way GNW says to do, and you should be ok. Cheers! -- Smug

I'm not sure if I understand.... but if you're not using local files, then you'll need to use a dataUrl pointing to an HTML document on the internet somewhere... Is this the case? Check to ensure the URL is correct for the document. Will it open in a regular browser? Cheers! -- Smug

I'm sorry smug but thanks for trying.. I am using the HTML/text plugin. I enter the source right through the bt control panel and save as a screen.. No HTML doc is created within the files that I can find.. I'm not using a HTML local file , I'm using just the plug in.. My assumption is that once the app is loaded it is going back and reading the file on the bt server which is taking a while.. I am unable to pull the plugin file that was created and put into eclipse

Oh. Are you talking about the HTML5 plugin? the one where you create/paste the code into the control panel page? I 'think' that it's held in the hosting site until the app is compiled, but I'm not entirely sure. When I look at one that I've done (locally), the 'dataUrl' for it is like this: http://www.mysite.com/files/applications/<APPID GOES HERE>/documents/customHTML_CC7B3DB73E01E02BA7AEAEF.html So I don't think it lives in your project yet... If you want to use a file that you can edit or touch, you may want to think about using a different kind of HTML plugin. Cheers! -- Smug

Smug yes , I am using the HTML5 plug in .. Are you saying I should maybe just use the HTML plugin and save the file locally? I did find this https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=59003A7904B82019F6539B1&command=isSearching&currentPage=3&topicTitle=HTML&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= Thinking its a known issue

I'd test both and see which gives you better results. Cheers! -- Smug
