issue download/upload plugin into my self host server

Hi, I just starting to configure self host server and stuck when trying to download/upload plugin. Tried download from my BT account. but it stuck with "loading" without install it. If I download the plugin and upload it, I'm getting error "The file archive uploaded OK but it could not be saved to the file system" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I believe my issue is with "Physical_path". I'm not sure how to get this Physical path. is it same as root URL of my control panel? /* application physical path on server, data directories. * /*These begin with a forward slash (/). Do not enter the trailing slash (/) */ define("APP_PHYSICAL_PATH", "YOUR_APP_PHYSICAL_PATH"); define("APP_DATA_DIRECTORY", "/files"); define("APP_THEME_PATH", "/files/theme");

Your 'physical' path is just that; the 'physical' filepath to your BT Server. If you can think in DOS terms, usually you'll have your webserver files in a directory called 'htdocs'. But 'htdocs' is not your 'physical' path... "C:\htdocs" is an example of a physical path. Because your self hosted server is probably on a cloud somewhere, you'll have to look around your hosting provider control panel, or whatever pages you have, to determine what the 'physical' path of your install is. If you can't find out from them, you might try putting this into a file in your domain root, name it 'info.php' and check with a browser to see what it tells you: <?php phpinfo(); ?> But yes, that's your problem; the physical path needs to be there, and correctly so. Let us know if that helps, or if there is still something missing... Cheers! -- Smug
