I sometimes get that with my 'menu_with_image' plugin; I guess it's just the way it is sometimes... The way I get over it, so to speak, is to adjust the left margin of the menu button text. That only helps so much, because of the wide variety of devices. On some it helps a little, on others it helps a lot. On yet others that didn't need it, it makes them look odd because the text is now far away from the icon... It's trial and error, with emphasis on 'the least error possible' as a goal. (Unless someone else knows a sure fire method, which I would love to know too!) Cheers! -- Smug

reduce size of icon...

"reduce size of icon..." Doesn't always work. On tablets and high dpi devices text goes over icon (or vice versa) no matter the size of icon. I'm with @smugwimp, play around with the xml and dimensions in the java file to get to the point of least error. It's a good plugin, it looks great on api8 emulator and devices, but I wonder how many people know their released apps might not look so great on other devices?

I tested on Samsung Galexy Prevail and Nexus 4. Prevail: Displays Perfectly Nexus 4: Image over Writing Solution: I added [- ] before the name of the Item in the list. Jake

But it will show that on all menus, right? Is that cool with you? (My wife has a Samsung Galaxy Nexus which also obscures the writing. It's my worst case scenario display, lol!) Cheers! -- Smug

It is an odd issue. The devices are getting wider, but the space for the text is getting narrower. Jake
