Setting up Push Notifications

I already have downloaded (self hosted) the source code for my next app into xcode. I am following this tutorial to add push notifications: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/BuzzTouchiOSPushNotifications.pdf After obtaining and installing all certificates, etc, the next step for me is "Download your apps source code from BT server" My question: Do I have to re-download the source code or can I ignore this step? (I have some custom code in xcode that a new dl would overwrite

I don't know for sure, but my guess isy ou probably don't need to re-download. Give it a go on a device (not simulator), codesigned with the correct developer profile.

Typically you only need to re-download a package if you've added a completely new plugin to your control panel (and use it). Otherwise, all changes should be reflected in the 'bt_config.txt' file for the platform. I usually take a copy of the latest config data from the control panel, and overwrite my existing config data when I make a lot of changes in the CP. It just makes things a little quicker, but you can usually just 'refresh' the app data and you should be good. Cheers! -- Smug

Hey AussieRyan, If you haven't done so already, take notes in great detail of all of the changes you made so you don't forget anything on your next update Dave
