RSS plugin

except the warnings I mentioned in my previous topic when I open the screen on my device it doesn't show me images beside each feed…is it normal? because at the plugin screenshot everything seems nice, with images etc.

Does your feed include images? (Not all do). If the feed does, then check the XML Element Data-Points in settings and make sure your Image XML Element matches the feed.

I've never experimented with the append value option, To set up the images you'll need to open the feed them look at the page source. Find the image links and use the code just before that. I'm not at a computer so I can check, but its usually something like guid if I remember correctly.

yes after so much search works for enough feeds but not to all of them... although some feeds have more than one words that describe their images in the xml file,so some images doesn't show!!! I'm still working on append url and can't find anything though!!!

I checked some of the feeds I use, and the two most common Image XML Elements are enclosure and media:thumbnail. The append url is a pretty advanced feature. You probably don't have a need for it.

thank you very much for your help… the biggest problem is when the image is inside "content:encoded"…and unfortunately there are lots of feeds in that form

content:encoded is a challenge. You need to use yahoo pipes to essentially find the image and rename the image element. You would need to use the "Regex" feature to change the item info. Here's a screenshot of one of my feeds. Here, I'm changing the linking website from the standard www site to the mobile version of the site. http://tinyurl.com/aznwoqz Same general principle applies for images. I haven't done that so I can't really help you. Google will be your friend.

By the way, I love Greece. Spent some time in Santorini a few years back and visited Athens. Would love to go back. Grew up in an area with a strong Greek community and have some good Greek friends.

No. Yahoo pipes is for any url/feed/etc. The example I showed you was from a sports clothing store (not mine).
