About push notifications

Hello, It's been a long time since I didn't come here. I've been very busy, but now I'm back to apps :) and happy to get back here ! I saw that if I become a member, I can self-host Buzz touch and publish as many apps as I want. And also I can send push notifications. I have a question about PN: Do i have to selft host the app to be able to send PN ? Could you explain me briefly how it works ? Thank you

Short Answers: No, you don't have to self host. After system configuration, you enter a message in your 'Push Notification' control panel for that application. You select iOS, Android or both. You push 'send'. The message gets distributed to all of your apps that have accepted push, and meet the criteria of your target devices. There is a little more to it than that, but mostly in the 'system configuration' part. Cheers! -- Smug
