App compiles fine and Apple approves but app sometimes does not load

So I have made a couple of apps and they have been approved by Apple and are live on the market, and before I submitted I tested on the Xcode simulator and on a test device. I noticed that the app took quite a while to load and sometimes wouldnt load, it would stay on the splash screen for a while and then just not open. I figured it might be just the simulator, but even now live the app still only opens about 1/2 of the time... when I am hooked up to wifi it opens all the time. anyone else experiencing this? I still have the app up in Xcode, is there a way to troubleshoot and see where the error might lie? all of my other apps open just fine....

Anything being hosted as far as content in a differant place than your other apps? I assume those others work fine.

Yeah all of my other apps open great... No all the questions are hosted withing buzztouch. No fancy screens, just quiz.

Ya know the app works great on the early mornings, then slows way down mid day... Could it be because its hosted on BuzzTouch servers and it slows when more apps are being used?

That would be a question to ask the BT folks. I guessing they can monitor or look at the logs to see what interaction is happening at what time for your app. Give the BT staff a ring....

I noticed a problem a bit like this myself with one of my apps. With me, it was because my home screen was a custom text/html plugin. When my app was not connected to the internet, I had a problem. If it was connected, all was good. I now make sure the content for first page that is loaded is always copied into my xcode project.

hmmm thats interesting, there are no custom html plugins or texts in this app, in fact I have another app that almost mirrors this app and one loads very quick and the other not so much... weird

I think my problem had more to do with the content for the home page only being available if the app was internet connected.
