http://readwrite.com/2013/03/20/more-android-phones-than-babies This article's title kills me. Some cool stats in the info graphic.

Very interesting info. I have a hard time believing that 60% of the apps have never been downloaded a single time. All three of my apps have been downloaded from locations where they have absolutely no need for the app...like somebody in Siberia downloading our league softball app! I think there are some services that download every app posted, for whatever reason. 1.82 billion smart phones by 2013. If you could get 1% of those phones to run an app that you charged $0.99 for, that would be a cool $18M (before Apple/Google cut) if I've done my math right. Seems easy enough! ;-) Mark

That stat does seem a little odd.

The infographic looks cool and reminds me of an eye test... But I am thankful for the post. I also do not completely trust those numbers. It would be very interesting to see in which age group there is most revenue. A week ago there was an infographic based on some Harward survey posted in the forum. Probably it was much closer to truth that average US user is spending about 70% time playing games and socializing. Only the rest of the time is spent for some useful stuff. That means if you want to make money, go to games. It is not exactly what Buzztouch was made for, but there may exist also useful games for education. Frogman
