How do I create a distribution certificate?

First App ever built. Trying to get it ready to distribute to some testers. App works fin in Simulator and I have just been successful in testing it on my iPad. In my provisioning portal, I go to Certificates, then Distribution and I can't see a certificate for this App. How do I create one? It appears I have a certificate for Developer and Distribution in my keychain. What next? Title Comments Absolute newbie here! First App ever built.
