Newbie orientation day

Hello everyone, I have some truly newbie questions : Getting the code out of BT i a simple download, but can I push back what I did with xcode back to BT ? If not, how do I manage adding new screens and plugins once I've started editing with Xcode ? I've create many screens, but the have not all been included in the download, maybe because they are not attached to anything. For now, that is enough, I don't want to look at this down the road and laugh too hard at my newbie status. Thanx in advance.

Hey again buddy. About to hit the sack. Here we go briefly. 1. You downloaded the BT app source code, fired up in Xcode, yeah? OK. Now any changes you make in the BT control panel will show up on your device/emulator when you click refresh, cool? Cool. Changes you make in Xcode are not reflected in your BT control panel as such, the reverse is true. But by all means you can customise the code in Xcode as you desire. 2. You say you have created many screens, sweet. They have to follow a path in the app if you will, to show up. They have to be linked and tied in to a opening screen, say a splash screen or tabbed home screen. 3. You can always add in new plugins as you develop and discover new features. Say someone release a new plugin you dont have already and you add it to your project. You need only update that plugin / import to Xcode and update your config file and you are good to go. That make sense? Again, never hesitate to post a question if you get stuck, chances are a load of us have been there before.

Hi @sevenops, Great stuff by @MacApple. Sounds like you are well on your way! There is also another New User Webinar coming up that covers a lot of the basics you know but can cover additional questions. https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=4E1CA4F6EB7675B51D899D5&currentPage=1

Thanx MacApple ! 1. Totally clear and working great ! 2. Good, So I guess my question is: How do I tie them together (define the path) ? Using BT or Xcode ? What if I want to use buttons to navigate to another screen ? 3. makes lots of sense, will try it when I get there.

Hello Ian, Yes, that webinar seems to be exactly what I need, but I will keep poking between then and now. Also finishing BTU might be a good idea...
