Twitter

Anybody use anything to get a twitter feed to show up in a app.. Looking for the the tweets to show up on the app page .. Even a URL I can direct to.. I know I can do rss but I am not self hosted. Thanks

I do have a idea to make it work by converting a twitter feed to a rss and then hosting the rss.. Then using a URL to view the hosted rss page.. Well I guess it's not a idea because I did it but looking for other thoughts out there..

I'm not sure either how twitter feeds are displayed but you can look into Simple HTML DOM Parser and build your own web page which will display what you want. Then use it in the URL plugin.

Thanks denkovi I am a on the side web developer and have to ability to make any type of page .. Was just looking for a different option

I'm learning as I go and with that parser you can do whatever you want. Then I'd use jQuery Mobile to make everything look nice like a native app would look. Good luck!

I know few people have used https://www.rssinclude.com with some success. Just use the URL plugin as suggested by @denikov and embed the twitter feed into a HTML page on a server somewhere.

Thanks for the info .. For those who are interested embedding into a website the using URL .. I have used http://www.rssfeedwidget.com/. It's free and not bad looking .. Very customizable
