Looks like it searches similar apps and their keywords to see how your app compares during app searches. Then it suggests keywords to use in yours. I've been getting a daily report on how my apps are performing, don't fully understand it as I haven't spent much time on their site. You get a few keywords for one app for free from their analysis, then there are payment options for in-depth reports, which I haven't tried... I updated an app the other day and it's showing a boost in placement in their reports, which, as a developer, is encouraging to see if nothing else.
