Error

Hi folks, I'm getting the following error after analyzing: nakedculturejuiceandjava_v20_iOS/BT_Config/BT_info.plist': The file “BT_info.plist” couldn’t be opened because there is no such file. I have cleaned, uploaded the config file twice, closed and reopened the program and I still get the error. Help is appreciated. D.

Hi @dianareed, Are you still having this problem? I would start by redownloading the source code for your project and starting fresh. Keep us posted!

Also, will this error stop me from submitting the app? It works fine on my iPhone and iPad.

Hi @dianareed, Usually yellow errors don't hinder an app from the app store. If its compiling and testing fine in devices then you should be good to go. I'd be happy to check your app on my end if you like.I would need the name of the app. Thanks Ian

Hi, I checked out your project and it loaded without errors or warnings. Maybe post a screen shot of Xcode with the warning. I believe you should be ok since the app is compiling and running. This is gonna be a really useful app. One suggestion I would make would be to see how it looks using a tabbed layout. With so many screens and Menus is may create a better user experience. Keep us posted! ian

For reference do you see the info.plist file in your project? Here's what it should look like https://dl.dropbox.com/u/39276137/Screen%20Shot%202013-03-12%20at%203.48.22%20PM.png

Ok, here's the whole thing. I actually don't see the info.plist because the config folder opens to another config folder, then another, then another. I'm going to download source code again and drag the config file over....one more time. And thanks for the tab suggestion, I'll check it out! Ahhh that sounds like the problem. The only folders you drag in are the 5 folders listed in the instruction.pdf It's in your project download. Give it a quick look. Let me know how it goes. Almost there! Ian

Ok, I just downloaded BT_config again, dragged it over and I see the BT_info.plist file. But still get the same error after analyzing. Sigh....

There is no dragging of the Config folder. My post just above explains it a little better Also, there is a free live New User Webinar tomorrow that might be of use http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=9EABA4FB1D6A43C4E98800C&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=New%20user%20Webinar&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory=

Oh....so dragging it isn't necessarily adding it to the project? Do I need to import the file again? I mean, it shows up and the app runs ok so.... And thanks for the link. This is new territory!

I would start with a fresh download and make sure you read the instruction.pdf included in the download. It has good pics of what you need to add. So close!

Ok, of course. I did read the instructions when I first started the project and everything worked great, no errors, no issues. All of this started happening when I upgraded Xcode. But...I've almost got it sorted out now. Thanks so much for all our help.
