[2013-03-10 08:31:18 - appname_v2] Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY [2013-03-10 08:31:18 - appname_v2] Please check logcat output for more details. [2013-03-10 08:31:18 - appname_v2] Launch canceled! Has anyone else got these errors? Jake

Hi Jake, The BT apps use google api and not android api. No matter which api level you choose dont forget to choose the google api. BT apps have google maps in it so the google api is needed for compiling the app. The BT thus uses Google maps library. Android api doesnot have this library. The logcat error shows that the google maps (which is the shared library here) is missing. Just recompile your app with google api and then run it. It should work.

Mostly yes, the google api has maps library in it where as android api does not have google maps library. Thats why any app which has maps in it needs to be compiled with google api and not android api. Since google maps is integrated in bt apps the use of google api is mandatory then let it be of level 8(froyo) or level 17(jelly bean)

Namaste! Ofcourse, I do want to visit Jerusalem one day. BTW Mumbai's other name is Bombay and its the biggest city in India. I myself have never been to the northern parts of India but i have travelled all the southern parts many times.
