Adding a new device (iphone 5) to push notification won't show up

Hi I'm developing an app with Push. I started out with the iPhone 4S as testing device and everything works fine. In the provisioning portal I added a iPhone 5 as an extra testing device and downloaded the new provisioning profile in to Xcode. So far So good. In my Xcode project I selected the new Provisioning Profile in my project and installed the app on the Iphone 5. I had to approve for Push Notification, so that all looks good. The only thing is I can't see the device in my BT push notification panel. The 4S is still there receiving messages without a problem, but the iPhone 5 just won't show up. I assumed I don't need to upload a new PEM file because I didn't cjange anything to the AppId. Any help on this would be very welcome. Thanks GJ

These Push certificates are tricky for sure. When I run into these problems I usually start over again with creating my push certificate (gets easier the more you do it) and making sure my App Id's have the test devices included. Wish I could tell you more but they are tricky sometimes. When I redo certificates they usually work.

Yeah it's a real pain in the A.. But the strange thing is that when you create an AppId enabled for push, you don't do anything with devices. Devices are chosen in the proces of creating a Provisioning Profile and I choose all devices incl. I5. I did download the updated Provisioning Profile to Xcode and used it in my project before installing it on the I5. Strange...... But thx for the reply. At least we share our passion about the crappy Apple certificate stuff ;-))

I think of it the same way. I procrastinate going through creating Push Certificates because I am sure I have it right. I redo the steps then it works. Who knows! Unless has anything changed in your Xcode project? Code signing, Config.txt? The passion of the Apple Push. I'd they weren't so darn useful I wouldn't bother. But when working its awesome.

I already happy to be able to test on 1 device. So the proces of adding Push works fine now. Just can't figure out why a new added test device won't show up in the panel.
