One link for Android and iOS

Does anyone know how to make one html link go to either Google Play or iTunes depending on what device they click it from? Possibly to connect to QR code. Thanks. -Shane

Awesome link! I didn't even realize I needed something like that, but now that I see it, I'm putting it to immediate use on an ad I'm doing for one of my apps. Excellent!

Thanks @Kittsy! That will be great. Anyone know if there is one for urls? So it can be linked within an image or badge instead of a QR? Thanks, -Shane

I use a piece of html that I host somewhere and I direct the user (or a QR code) to that. It does browser detection, which I use to decide if the browser is Android or Apple and redirects the user accordingly. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> </head> <!-- There is no display to show on this index page --> <!-- The sole purpose is to detect the type of device --> <!-- and redirect to the appropriate page --> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> if(navigator.userAgent.match(/iPhone/i) || navigator.userAgent.match(/iPod/i)) { // put the execution code here window.location = "iphone.html"; } else if(navigator.userAgent.match(/iPad/i)) { window.location = "ipad.html"; } else if(navigator.userAgent.match(/Android/i)) { window.location = "android.html"; } else { // document.write("<p>No idea what this is </p>"); window.location = "misc.html"; } </script> </body> </html>

Make the qr code, then copy and paste the link it makes, no need to use the qr code
