Flash Cards

Hi everyone, I really need a flash card plugin for my app that doesn't link to an outside url. I looked at the storybook idea, but it is only good for iPad. The idea I had is to take the blank plugin, change the background image to one of the flash cards, and then daisy chain 5 more blank plugin slides to it. The only problem is that this is going to get very messy very quickly as I have over 350 flash cards I would like to incorporate into this. Anyone have a better idea on how to make flashcards....for someone with zero programming skills. Thanks Min

Well, I have no hard and fast answer, but I do recommend that if your data is not already in a database or spreadsheet, you won't be wasting your time putting it in some kind of digital form that is segregated. Whatever plugin you end up using, you're not going to want to enter all the text in manually; you're going to need some kind of script or childItem file to populate the flash cards. It's usually not a problem to create a plugin for iOS, or Android. But usually folks are better at one than both. What platform are you looking at? Cheers! -- Smug

I might be able to help you on the iOS side. This is something I have thought about before. Just been buried in the quiz plugin code.

I would like to do it for both android and iOS - currently working with iPhone. I'm not a member, but would like to join if I can make flash cards that run on multiple devices. Cheers, Min
