Has Anyone else had joy using BuzzTouch Self Hosting with 123-REG?

Just wondering before I embark on this mission...

With Fasthosts, I use to be with 123 Reg, but them and Fasthosts are all the same, because they are a large company with thousands of clients, customer service is poor. I've been having major headache trying to get the ports open for push. Tough decision, you may get a better service with a smaller hosting company. Just my opinion.

I've been with Network Solutions since before there was a choice ;) Cheers! -- Smug

I use hostpapa, quite cheap if you pay in advance, free domain for life. Access to everything, unlimited email, unlimited bandwidth, good customer service. Can't fault it. Unlimited mysql databases Oh and you get cash back with quidco

Crickey that sounds good Kittsy, erm well I decided I didn't want to mess around with changing hosting. So i've followed the steps with no errors, I get to the end and I cant login? I haven't added the BT server API's yet, but that shouldn't affect me logging in should it?

**solved I was logging in with my info not the default... That was rather painless, I'm impressed.

If you still haven't bought any hosting, try out x10Hosting. You can start with a free account, which I have still to find luck on, but you can get a taster of whether Self-Hosting is worth it.

Afternoon! I already have hosting with 123-Reg for my other sites, I can confirm that switching over to Buzztouch self Hosting is indeed very very simple. I used Javoo's guide, very good.

I've just joined recently, and this site is awesome. Im slowly doing the guides and Im looking through the forum to get a better idea what works and what doesn't. Forums are highly underated, forums with quality people leading them can be extremely helpful. Buzztouch has opened my eyes to how forums work :).
