Cannot import source code into eclipse

Hello, I could not find the same topic in the forum (believe me I tried a lot) so I am posting a new one. When I tried to import my root folder into eclipse, the wizard won't let me select the project because when I click on the checkbox next to the project (select), it just turns into "-"(minus sign) instead of check marked and there is no "finish" button there. I even changed project name into something else... but did not work. Can anybody help me? Thank you!

Hi Mark, I actually watched the video three times. :) When I tried to select the project, your video shows checkmark and finish button, but my screen just keeps making it unselectable (minus) and won't let me proceed (there is no finish or next button enabled)... Then I get stuck.

Send me an email at MrkFleming at gmail dot com, and we can set up a TeamViewer session so I can see what's going on (if you're interested!). Mark

Hi @NE Booker, Do you have another project already in Eclipse? If so, delete it, if not, try restarting Eclipse. LA

I had a similar sounding problem a while ago, drove me mad. Turns out that a project didn't get properly deleted and data was still in the workspace metadata. Check to see if you have any undeleted data at this location: Path to workspace (typically C drive):workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\ (what I found was a BT_activity_root folder in that location, even though it wasn't in eclipse. Just deleted the folder and everything was good again).

Thank you so much, Raveyd! It solved the problem. I just deleted the entire \workspace folder. I could finally open the project. Now I have a totally different problem (Google API: 11 - which I think I can solve with SDK Manager) but I am very happy to just import the project! Thank you, NE

Excellent news! Yes, make sure everything in the SDK manager is up to date and you should be good to go :) (Not the best idea to delete the whole workspace, but as it's the first project it'll be ok - just don't do it when you have lots of projects!).
