number of buzztouch API calls

I read that accounts on buzztouch are limitted to 100 API calls per month. Is that true? Only on free accounts or is that paid too? What happens when you hit the limit, your app fails to make the API calls? None of that makes sense to me, so I hope I'm misunderstanding something. Maybe I need to understand what is defined as API call. I'm thinking it is each time my app communicates with buzztouch. (Like when my "json snippet parser plugin" fetches something from the buzztouch server.) Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Beware the clown; otherwise, you'll most likely be ok. Cheers! -- Smug
