This is why we do this.

If you're not smiling after this :05 minute video, you're in the wrong place :-) Code rules! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nKIu9yen5nc

Heck, I'm smiling and I haven't watched it yet. Of course, I'm an optimist. Cheers! -- Smug The first computer I worked on, wasn't 'in' the basement, it 'was' the basement. And had tubes.

Nice. The world needs more people who can write code. The world needs people who can do beautiful things. The world needs people who respect others. Cheers! Frogman

Hi David Fantastic video, but you are 3/4 days late as this was already posted on forum. However I think it's a great watch but it left me thinking I have no prospects lol! as I seriously struggle to understand coding. <a href="http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=6B5DF4D8C58DA103A418B18&currentPage=4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=6B5DF4D8C58DA103A418B18&currentPage=4</a>

Putting Chris Bosh and Will.I.Am into the video was pure genius! That will surely keep a few of the kids from hitting the pause button. Walking over to my kids now, "hey, watch this video ..." :-) -- Niraj

We are all rock stars! I have VERY strong opinions about this subject, as many of you may have heard from time to time in my podcast. I learned how to program BASIC at age 6. (Wish I had more to show for it now, LOL). Before I was allowed to touch the keyboard, I had to prove my program with graph paper and flow charts. NEITHER of which I have seen come home by either of my daughters. Although times have changed, as well as learning tools, the concept of logic should still be an important priority. Teach children HOW to learn and how to think, before you teach them WHAT to learn and what to think. I cringe every time my kids bring home a worksheet full of information they have to memorize for a standardized test. [rant over]
