YouTube like APP

Hey guys, I have web site like YouTube it's called BALKANTUBE.TV I would like to create APP for my site, but I have no idea where and how to start. It's not need to bee 100% like YouTube's... Is there someone who have made app like that before or know some good guide for it? I have tried to find online but had no luck :(... Friendly regards, fr34k

I can see that your site is very nicely mobile optimised. If you build for Android, you'd only need the customURL plugin. Knock out an app in 10 minutes. Not so straightforward with Apple as you'd need to add additional 'native' functionality.

Is your site mobile compatible? If so, you could create a simple app, use custom url to feed the mobile site through to the app and then add a few native features to ensure it passes the apple submission.

Yes it is mobile compatible and I have mobile sit for it but if you use your mobile you can see how it made it looks nice but I want to make it better, I'm kind of perfectionist when it comes to it :)...

This approach will make your App be very different than the Mobile Browser view. For the Home Screen, use the Menu Buttons plugin to show all your Video Categories: https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=9D19BE46E483710C76BA9FB Then use the Menu with Image plugin to generate the video listings for each of the Categories on the Home Screen. https://www.buzztouch.com/plugins/plugin.php?pid=F018606BDA6027B90A3ED49 Then have your PHP code generate JSON code that uses the loadScreenObject to help the User navigate to various parts of your Video Catalog: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=0AEFF1909A28E9AC27DD126&fid=A00805FCC9962ECBA15A891&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&tPage=1 -- Niraj
