VIDEO HERE of Checklist Pro Plugin.....coming soon to the market

Hi All, Since I joined BT there was one plugin that I wanted, mainly for my own use. It is a checklist plugin. So I searched the app store to find something similar to what I wanted, then got someone on oDesk to make something similar for me. Next step was to make it into a plugin so I can use it in my apps etc. @Chris1 managed to take the "app" from my oDesk developer and convert it into a workable plugin with control panel interface. Have a look at the video using the link below, basically you can create your own checklist with default categories and items, in the video example I used camping, but obviously it can be used for anything that a checklist would be useful for. Check out the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05ndIVpo6I8&feature=youtu.be Special mention to @Chris1 for getting it over the line, now we just got to clean it up a bit and then submit it for review. Apologies already to the android users, it is only iOS at the moment, wouldn't know where to start to get it into Android...

Thanks Kaybee for including me on this project. I had a ton of fun and learned a bunch working on it. Some thoughts: 1) You can create default checklists, items and categories in the control panel that can be updated at any time. Users can create their own in the app, but can only delete their custom ones, preserving the default items. 2) Checklists in the control panel can have their own items with corresponding categories added to them - from the control panel. This works using child items of child items - a first for Buzztouch! 3) For you nerdy plugin developers out there, this is a huge step forward in plugin development. It started with a non-buzztouch, fully functional app and became a true Buzztouch plugin. That means integrating in non-Buzztouch view controllers and everything else. Nothing is off limits anymore!

I have to say guys, you lot are very creative in the plugins you create. Already I know what I can use this for. I wish I could create plugins, but I just cannot get my head around the code. Anyway good luck on this, looks to be a great addition to the market, can't wait.

OMG. This is so very cool. Would there be any way to add items to a checklist from another screen. Think recipe app - I would like to have a button on a recipe and click "Add To Shopping List". The predefined ingredients would then be added to the shopping checklist. Oh please say yes. Well done guys - it really does look awesome. When will this be available? Chris

Yep - it's already built into the plugin. The user will see 'default' items and checklists that they cannot delete, but can check on or off. (You, the app owner, adds the default items). But the user can also add their own items and checklists. It will be a few weeks before this gets in the market though. It's in review, but I'm moving next week so it will be pushed back.
