Testflight Assistance

Hi guys, Is anyone able to provide me with a basic guide to getting testflight up and running please? I'm building an app for a client and he will be testing from a remote location. I have him set up as a tester and he has installed the profile. I'm just wondering what is the process. I assume I add the TF SDK to the project. Is there any code that needs adding, I assume I need to export the .IPA in a similar way to parse. Ad Hoc profile, etc. Thanks for the help.

I just used it, not as intuitive as it should be. There is a step by step guide on their site. Don't think you need the SDK, optional. Be sure to sign with your ad-hoc cert for release, that cert needs your tester's device added to it before build. Distribute for Ad-hoc. Drop the .ipa where it says on TestFlight, then update and notify. If you get stuck somewhere post it. My step by step would basically be a rehash of theirs.

Do you know, I just cant find a step by step on their site. Without the SDK is it a case of:- Ad hoc profile with test device added .IPA into 'Add a build' Update the app on the device Notify the tester ? No need for code or the SDK? Thanks again

Close, after you add the build push the Update and Notify button Ad hoc profile with test device added .IPA into 'Add a build' "Notify an Update" the tester Update the app on the device No SDK needed, adds features but works fine without

Hey. For IOS and Test flight you need the following Create the project in Testflight and add your client to its team. Your client will receive and email, the best way is, on the device he will using to test it, follow the link to the testflight and he registers himself as a user and the device. Testflight will install a certifcate in the device. You will receive and email saying that your teammate has registered. From test flight you get your clients device identification, and you add it to your apple developer account, as you do with any device for testing. Then, you have to code your app with a profile that includes the clients device. Choose to archive as you would when sending to apple but instead of submitting to app store chose save for enterprise or ad hoc. Then just upload the saved file to test flight. Thats it.
