Updating HTML5/text Plugin

Since the HTML5/Text plugin cannot be refreshed on save - how do you update the contents? There must be a way other than deleting the project files and redownloading the source files from BT. or is this the only way?

I'm afraid I'm not understanding the question. On a HTML/Text screen, you can go back in and update the text realtime.

Just below the Custom HTML / Text text editor it says: "Note: This plugin does NOT support the Live / Design mode feature. If you click Save the content you see here will show in the device regardless of what "mode" the device is in." When I make a change and save it it doesn't change.

OK, so if you have a screen with ABC on it, that is what shows in the app. Then change ABC to DEF and click Save at the bottom. When you go into the app, make sure you refresh on the home screen (top left icon). Then the HTML screen should be updated. This line... "Note: This plugin does NOT support the Live / Design mode feature." means that the new mode for Live/Design doesn't apply to HTML screens. The changes are immediate. Graham.

I find the default font so small on the iOS simulator and phones so I increase font size in the HTML editor, and save but it never goes through. Sometimes the font comes out as different sizes on the simulator too. The only thing I am left to do is re download the source code and compile again.

Sometimes it takes a long time for the plugin to update. I dont know why but it does. I have been through the same thing. As an experiment one night when the plugin was giving me trouble, I let it "soak" overnight. When i fired up the app the next morning, it was updated. Dave

@sanamionline, Glad you got it working right! The custom html plugin can give a person a headache. I would always advise, when using the text editor in the Custom Html plugin, to check and recheck the formatting in it because it can be a little unstable. LA
