BTM Search menu

Hi guys, I need a bit advice on the above plugin- its great and works well. However I have noted that the search only finds the first word in the title of the page. For example if the screen title is "alcoholic pancreatitis", a search will only find alcoholic but not pancreatitis. Is there anyway around this? As always I am indebted to your help. Thanks in advance!

Check out the forum post below. It deals with the initial ver 1.5 search screen but will work on the newer 2.0 search plugin as well. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=5A646846D3C4C1283576DBB&status=&searchInput=search&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC%C2%A4tPage=1&doViews=1 josh

Hi, Need detailed advise. Help would be greatly appreciated! Can´t find where to make the appropriate change in order to search for a second word as mentioned above by @Fais (first email of this topic, 1 month ago). Using the BTM Search Menu plug-in in iOS. Thanks, Pancho.

Hi Poncho, I'm summarising Davids post but essentially: 1) goto BT_screen_menuSearch.m in your xcode project 2) Find the if(r.location == 0) condition (just search for it in the file, there is only one entry) 3) To get rid of "if(r.location == 0)" commented it out. Change it to: //if(r.location == 0){ [self.filteredMenuItems addObject:thisItem]; //} Hope that helps! Fais

Hi Fais, Thanks for your answer. Indeed, I was trying to follow this instructions in the previous post as indicated by mutzy. For some reason I can´t find "BT_screen_menuSearch.m" in my Xcode project. Do I need a special plug-in for search besides the BTM Search Menu plug-in? Thanks, Pancho.

I guess in BT 2.0 the name of the module is BTM_search.m within the BTM Search Menu ply-in. If this is the case, then I found it! Thanks,
