Fuzzy Images on Android

We have successfully created an iPhone app using a logins screen and then displaying PDF's. That, however, doesn't work with an Android as it downloads the PDF's. Instead, we are using a website with images of the pages. What we have: We have a website created with large JPG's of newspaper pages one after another. The problem: The pages load fine on some devices, but are fuzzy and illegible on others. We've tested on several devices now and have found the following: - Motorola Atrix: Images load as expected - Samsung Galaxy SI & II: Images load but are illegible - Samsung Galaxy SIII: Images load as expected - HTC Inspire: Images load but are illegible We are now trying to determine what it is about these phones that allow the images to load properly and keeps them legible. Perhaps someone else has run into a similar issue? Is there some sort of minimum requirement we could safely indicate you must have in order to use our app? The link to the page with images is as follows: http://174.120.126.59/~whatsup/previousissue.html Perhaps a few of you with android devices wouldn't mind clicking the link and reporting back if the images are legible for you? Thanks in advance!

Ah, the joys of multiple Android devices! No specific answer for you, but I did notice (through a bit of research), that both screens that aren't displaying things properly are 4.3" WVGA screens. It could just be that they're not capable of displaying at the resolution you need. It's hard to say without further research. Mark

Looks good on my Nexus 7 running Jelly Bean. A bit fuzzy at full page, but OK when I zoom in. Mark
