Hello Everyone

Hello to all community members. My name is Jamie aka RevMagi. I am new to buzztouch and have been trying to find the best platform to help facilitate my app programming ability. I have used Flash Builder for a few apps but I am looking for something that will allow for dynamic builds across many platforms and BuzzTouch looks very interesting. I look foward to being a part of the community.

Welcome RevMag, No matter what your programming level I am sure you will find that Buzztouch is the best platform around. There is a podcast called Buzzcast which is produced by of the Buzztouch community members. I think that is a great place to get a feel for what you can create using the Buzztouch platform. You can get more info about the podcast at: http://www.idevdepot.com. Glad too have you as part of the community. Tony

Ace, good luck RevMagi. I found following other users pretty helpful, I stay subscribed to a couple so that I can read their posts on forums. Also it makes it super easy to Direct Message them.

I am excited to see some of the changes coming after March 3rd. I have not built anything yet as I am working my way through the video's first. I normally like to jump in feet first list most but figure if I am going to really get into this platform... I want to actually know how to go about using it rather then get frustrated. I could use some guidance.... I am having a hard time doing searches on the forum. I want to make an app where I can have users logging in and updating their own content for the individual app. All interacting with mysql database. I see that I can manually edit content and have it update in the app, but want to be able to allow two different user levels. ie company and employees. Company can log in and create said number of employees and edit them, or have employees log in and edit their own, or even have employee as a stand alone user. I am not expecting anyone to write this for me, just trying to search the forums for articles that may help me put this together.
