With image menu, how to place a single row at bottom of screen rather than in the middle

Hello everyone. So i'm working on a historic tour. Navigating from a map screen, clicking on each pin on the map would take you to an image menu containing a full screen image of the site with a single row at the bottom offering more details about that particular spot. I've tried both the simple menu and the image menu, and I'm only able to place the row right in the middle of the screen. Is there a way to place a single row along the bottom of the screen? Is there a more appropriate plugin for this function that I'm not thinking of?

Go get Susan Metoxen's app that does a historic tour of her town, Hopkins. I love the way she gave a guided tour by using menus, maps and content. https://itunes.apple.com/hk/app/think-hopkins-minnesota/id554549991?mt=8 -- Niraj

Hi MrT, Would you be interested in something like the following? A menu row which can be scrolled just at the bottom of the screen. It has to be tweaked a bit ... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27773514/ForShare/iOS%20Simulator%20Screen%20shot%20Feb%2013%2C%202013%209.45.40%20PM.png

That looks really cool, WebNevees :) It scrolls horizontal? like a scrolling tab bar of sorts? That IS cool! Cheers! -- Smug

Nice! Will you be making that into a plugin on the market?

Niraj, the layout of the image menues on Susan's app is what i'm trying to achieve. So what I'm trying to figure out is, how do you manipulate the positioning of the buttons or rows on the menu. Right now, i'm only able to place a row right in the middle of the screen. WebNevees, your screen looks great.

MrT: Are you doing this for iOS or Android?

Chris1: I'm doing this for iOS initially and, ideally, Android at some point later down the road.

So in iOS, if you open up the "WB_screen_menuImage.m" file, you'll notice values toward the top of the file for imageHeight, imageWidth, and tableHeight. They are based on the type of device. I would change tableHeight to equal one row's height. Then, you'll need to look a little bit lower down for this code: [self.myTableView setFrame:CGRectMake(0, imageHeight, imageWidth, tableHeight)]; Here, you'll want to adjust "imageHeight" to a higher value to push the table down lower. Probably what you'll want to do is create another variable ("CGFloat tableYOrigin" or something) just above that, and set it to different values depending on the device type. With a little bit of math you should be able to get it exactly where you want it.
