Is this for IOS? And you dropped your video into xcode? is its android, I heard it doesn't support capital letters. Miguel

yes this iOS have dropped video files in already...not having any response neither for urls or video file names in this application?

Hi @Mr M, The first thing that jumps out at me is you state the video url not working either. I know you mentioned you do not want to use the url, but did you put the video for the url in self-hosted? Also with the video url not working, I would also check the codecs on the video. I know it says it's a .mp4, but that doesn't mean it's supported. LA

You copied the file Desktop.mp4 into your BT_video folder, and compiled the project- but when you go to test the video it's not playing? try this sample video: http://clips.vorwaerts-gmbh.de/big_buck_bunny.mp4 Try it via the URL and also try downloading that file and copying it into your project and see it that plays. That will eliminate the video file itself being the issue.... Ok any suggestions how to make my video files available to work in this plugin?

Good News! Video encoding is a bit of a challenge and when you find a good encoder and format & settings - document it & stick with it! I use Handbrake and try to use the Apple Legacy devices settings. When you re-encode a video, the audio sample rate also gets set, which can actually be the issue more than the video. Android devices are even less forgiving on formats, so the challenge is really to find a format that works on both devices. Depends who the target audiance is I suppose.... There are a jillion tutorials if you google up Handbrake and iphone/android. And Android videos do not work well (if at all on the simulator). THANK i found it.... it was simple no capitol letters in the video file :)))
