HTML5/ Text question

I think im on the right track but after some testing and failing i thought i should ask. I am thinking that the HTML/text plugin is the best for this. I just want to import some text pages on the app. These pages will not need to be updated so i didnt want to just URL plugin them. I have the ability to do html code and create the page so it looks nice but when i built one and ran it through exclipse i got a blank page. Do I have to import the page into exclipse somehow from buzztouch or does it auto compile? Or maybe i am using the wrong plugin

Like most other resources, when you link them in the Buzztouch control panel, you'll still need to add them to your project. So if you linked 'mypage.html' to an HTML plugin, make sure you add (not just copy, but 'add') that to your BT_Docs directory in eclipse as well. Cheers! -- Smug

Did you go to the publish page and hit publish so you have the green dot?

The HTML 5 editor will embed the content into the App, correct. I think it's the only exception to the 'rule', heh. Cheers! -- Smug

True Smug, forgot all about that. I do know that the HTML / text plugin sometimes takes a long time to see the updates in the app. Just playin around when an update didn't show up in my app, I let it go overnight just to see if it would update. The next morning the update was there.

Sry ... I really didn't do much .. I found that for some reason whether you paste some HTML or text and hit save it takes a while to change .. When I change other parts on the app . I can refresh and changes ae there within 30 seconds .. When I created a html5/ text doc with the plugin it could take 3 to 5 min for the changes .. I don't have to hot publish or transfer any doc into the emulator. It will update just needs time.. If you get a doc does not exsist message either go back and hit save again or just wait before it shows up.. So with HTML/plug in you can put any text you want ie. like a info page that you may never change .. Works slick
