App logo shows twice in simulator

When I view my app in the simulator, it shows 2 logos on the home screen instead of the 1. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if I completely understand... Your 'home' screen is using an image for the background, and it's showing up twice? If the image is a small image, maybe the image is 'tiling' ? Try using a larger image? Let us know a little more... Cheers! -- Smug

It shows the logo twice, one with the name of the Logo and one named Untitled. I didn't click on Home Screen Menu to add to the app so I'm thinking that may be where I went wrong. Is there any way to delete and re-do the app? I do not have much work into it at all so I won't lose anything by starting over.

I don't believe so Jake. I'm brand new to all of this so I'm just trying to follow along with what I've seen in the videos.

Instead of double clicking "home screen menu" and then adding from there, I clicked the + to Add New. I've created an email and a call button that way and I think that might be why my app is having the issues as mentioned above. Is there a way to delete the email and call options so I'm just left with the logo that I uploaded? I realize I can't delete the app as a Guest but I'd like to delete most of what I've created and start over. Is that possible?

You can't remove the app, but you can always delete screens, change names, do whatever to make it a 'virtually' new app anyway... With respect to screens/actions, you have to view them in 'list' mode for deletion to be available. Could one image be in your theme background, and another in a different screen? Just curious... Anything is possible Smug! lol Today has been a very frustrating day for me with all of this. I just wish I could learn it all immediately and know what I'm doing. I'm not going to quit though. I just want to be able to delete the app back to the beginning and start it over. I'll try as you've suggested above. Thanks so much! Kristin

I recommend reseting the simulator and then try again (with simulator open, select reset content and settings from drop down)...

Oh, if it's multiple icons on the device, just delete them. That happens to me every once and again, on both iPhone as well as Android. I just delete the app and when I run my code again, it reinstalls. On iPhone, just press the icon and hold it until they all start shaking... press the 'x' and confirm deletion. On Android, go into your settings > applications (or application manager), select the app and choose 'delete' or 'uninstall'. That's just an annoyance; it's nothing serious, or anything you've done. It's just a computer thing, I guess... Cheers! -- Smug
