Some news & updates on BuzztouchMods

Hi all, I noticed a few days ago that BuzztouchMods.com has gotten over 10,000 downloads (between 44 mods/plugins, average of 200 downloads per mod)! It's been about a year and 3 months since launch, and wanted to thank everyone who helped it grow. I'm working hard with Smug (really, he deserves all the credit) to release some new mods to enhance the self hosted control panels for advanced users. Yesterday we released a multi-upload script: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=D742B5BC68286156141DF41 Were working on two other FREE (always) mods that are nearly finished: - Copy app script/mod (90% done) - Push Notification History/Archive mod (90% done) Some unreleased plugins will be released in a few days, these plugins are unfinished but WORK, they will be FREE and come with NO support. - Calculator Plugin https://buzztouchmods.com/plugins/screenshots/calculator/iphone_01.png - Number Generator Plugin https://buzztouchmods.com/plugins/screenshots/numbergenerator/1.png - Shake Plugin I'm releasing these as I don't have much time these days to fix them up for proper use (rotations, bugs, etc), or time to code them into the control panel. These are open source and can be used with most projects, just install as usual for your self hosted control panel. Also want to do a overhaul of the site, BTM is for advanced users that feel comfortable hacking away the self hosted control panel and modifying code for plugins. I would like to make this more clear so that users who use our mods/plugins are prepared for that kind of experience. As the plugin market grows, plugins will no longer be a bigger part of BTM, and mods and hosting will be taking a bigger role. We already have several clients hosting with us (competing with hostgator/godaddy), and were updating our old mods for 2.1.8 (like the user control mod). If anyone has suggestions or comments, please feel free to post. Thanks again to everyone for submissions/work/help this past year, so cool! Hope to give back some awesome stuff to the community before the end of the month. p.s. Be sure to thank @SmugWimp for these awesome mod submissions, without him none of the recent mods we've been working on / releasing would be even close to a reality. Super cool guy, crazy coder. Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com

MrDavid, this is just a little feedback on one of the mods I got from BuzzTouchMods and use on my Self Hosted BuzzTouch Server. I noticed after adding this Mod (Disable source code downloads & disable delete app (for users) 1.0) to my BuzzTouch Self Hosted server, and after clicking on "Over the Air Distribution", or "Application Archives", the user selections that I wanted to be unavailable become visible again to the user. What do I need to change in the plugin to prevent this from happening? I'm using BuzzTouch Self Hosting V2.1.8 or is this one of the mods I need to hack to get to work?

Congrats! 10,000 K is a great milestone. BTM is still The BEST non-BT site that we have as a resource. The plug-ins and content there is what got me started developing BT beyond the basics. Solid hosting, support and service! Anxious to see some of these new plug-ins, these sound incredibly useful. Thanks for the freecode snippets too, never know what one might build from that. Keep at it you guys!
