Is it possible to cancel the force-refresh option?

I have a menu screen that I am using a custom URL menu for it. I am using it to reference an external login screen. It works great but it doesn't keep the users screen name and password saved, so they have to input this info every time they access that screen which is a pain... I looked in the settings for the custom URL menu and it does not give you the option to change the force-refresh option... I dont know if that would even help... any ideas? is it possible to stop this screen from refreshing? any help is much appreciated!

Make the updates automatic. I wrote a PDF on this some time back. Here's a link: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/AutomaticRefresh.pdf

Thank you for that info, I did not know that that existed and I just implemented that, but I have a different issue as far as the login is concerned... So basically I have a login screen that when the user inputs their user name and password it enters just fine... my issue is when they back out of that login and try to re-enter their user name and pword is blank again and they have to re-enter the info... which seems like a small problem but the users are asking if there is a way to keep there info there so they dont have to keep re-entering it... any ideas?

Try a custom HTML plugin rather than the custom URL plugin; it allows for caching, which may be the answer. Cheers! -- Smug

Yes, a possibility is you can use an iFrame. Jake

in the dataURL of the HTML plugin, put your web address. If it doesn't display the way you want it to, then you might have to create a 'mobile' web page and use an iFrame to 'encapsulate' or 'wrap' the webpage within your page. An iFrame basically displays a page (or portions of code) within a page, similar to old school 'frames' but a bit more flexible. Buzztouch server pages use a LOT of iframes, to show different 'parts' of a page dynamically, rather than have a thousand different pages. In any event, try putting your url in the dataUrl field, and try it out. Cheers! -- Smug
