General question

I have attempted to install eclipse on two different window machines. When I am installing the sdk I am ruining into a error that windows can't change the name of the tool folder because its in use... I have attempted all I know to disable everything.. Googled it and stil can't find the answer.. It won't load the downloaded update.. Thought? I'm expecting my Mac anyday.. Should I just wait and install on the Mac and not have to worry about windows and all its issues? Suggestions? Thanks Jim Have a great weekend

I would just wait if you getting it real soon. I ran into the same problem when I was deleting the folder that held eclipse. It said it was in use. Never figured it out.

Hello, There's a much better method for installing Eclipse these days than in the past. Not sure which method you're using, but I've documented this method on several different OS types, including Mac and Windows. You can find all the videos here...hope it helps! http://www.youtube.com/user/GoNorthWest/videos?flow=grid&view=0 Mark

I've never considered an install a waste of time, from the aspect that each install always tends to be a little different, and it never hurts to gather more experience. That said, yeah, you're going to love that Mac. And curse the years prior when you didn't have one. Cheers! -- Smug
