plugin creation

If I create a plugin, how do I upload it? I am not self hosted. Can I use it privately, or do I need to submit to the "store"?

It would be a 'lot' (and I mean a LOT) easier if you were self hosted, but I suppose you don't have to be. It can be used privately, and not released to the general public. You need to be a member to create plugins though. Membership is a pretty good deal, imho. Cheers! -- Smug

Agree with everything @Smug says. Also, if you're self hosted you can build plugins from the 'blank screen' plugin for private use - then there's no need to go through the store submission.
