The size of my app changed a lot

Lucky for us the plug in has been updated and now includes this features. So I thought I would need to re download the source code to get the new code from taht aplug in and I put back all my resources there photos and videos (around 300 mg). It's all there working on the simulator on the Iphone. But when I load it back it took a few second instead of about 30 mn the average time. So I click in the xcode on the organiser window on estimate size and the result that I got was 10 mg instead of the actual size around 300 mg. This happened to me another app. so I deleted everything from the first apps, re downloaded and re constructed the app and everytime same thing, the app is super light. the upload works fine and my app is waiting for review but I dont understand how the app can go from 300 mg to 10 mg and how it arrived at apple server. Unless there is some super new features where all the binary changes gets loaded instead of everything ? any ideas ?
