Kaybee, you use it with IOS or android? I havent been able to get it working. The self control panel detects the devices, sends the messages, but they never reach the devices. And I did allow them to receive notifications. Cheer. Miguel

iOS only for me Miguel, I had problems initially as I am self hosted with buzztouchMods with MrDavid. But he sorted them out very quickly, something about ports etc, apparently those with GoDaddy have problems on the web server package, but it works on their other packages because they will open the ports as needed then.

Warren, not Beeing a Member, the push notification would still appear in the self control panel. What would be the not working part for non members? Maybe my problem is something with my account and not server... Thanks

@MadRod - yes, the Push Notifications option appears on the control panel. However, there is a message at the top of that page that notifies the guest account that the Push Notification function is only available to Members. David's account is a Guest account.

@DavidMollet - As you may be aware, Buzztouch converted to a Membership model on January 1, 2013. A Membership costs $79.99 per year (currently discounted to $69.99) and provides a whole host of benefits, including self-hosting and Push notifications. For you, it's a great deal - convert from your current self-hosted plan at $29.99 per month to the annual Membership and get everything you're currently getting - and more. However, that conversion was not automatic. Some of our customers, believe it or not, just didn't want to mess with switching -even though they would get more features and be charged hundreds of dollars per year less! There is no catch. Contact Stephen Mercurio - [email protected] - to discuss converting your account so you can take advantage of the new Membership-only features.

Hello David Mollet, Your account needs to be fixed to make you a Member in the new style. On your Account, in the left menu, click on "Account Manager" to request a fix. -- Niraj
